The Excel Center's intensive outpatient program offers treatment for emotional and/or behavioral problems. Treatment team meetings are held weekly with clinicians from all the different disciplines involved in the treatment of the patient. As the leader of the team the psychiatrist is also heavily involved.

Treatment is Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m during the school year and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. during the summer.

Intensive outpatient includes:

• Group therapy, including process groups, skills groups, nursing and recreational groups

Our charter school, which is accredited by the Texas Education Agency, keeping the patient's curriculum current (for school-age patients).

• Medication management with the psychiatrist at least once per week
• Phone consultation with therapist and nurse
• Clinical case management

Adult Intensive Outpatient Now Offered

Excel Lewisville is now offering an Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program for Adults, designed to provide resolution to problems such as depression, anxiety and life stressors, through group treatment and education. Group sessions will meet Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6pm-9pm.

First Fridays to begin in September 2010.
